Dude I have a ZJ. Yeah, it pulls hard of the line, but at highway speeds an S4 would kill it and traction isn't even an issue. that audi driver didn't want a race.
PS:A 4.7l Grand will school the 5.9 at highway speeds. it has less to do with raw power than it does with the shape of the torque curve. go learn something.

This Jeep ran a 13.8 at 100mph in 2wd (which means no hard launch) You think an a4 would be anywhere near this Jeep in any sort of race? This S4 stock traps a little under 100mph according to what I have dug up online... Jeep beats S4, easy as that.

that doesnt really make sense considering the engine in this car is a small block 360 which is an extremely common motor with everything here in america while you have to import all your shit from germany. then again old audis like the one in the vid suck so you can find an abundant source for parts at the junk yard ;) im not dissin on german cars cause i love bmws i have 3, but pre 04 audi's are maintenance nightmares.

he is partially correct though, a 4.7L High Output jeep would probably lead ahead on the highway vs a 5.9L jeep but on the track/launch a 5.9L would kill. plus the ZJ's coefficient of drag is much higher than the WJ's

Just for electical. I have owned bmw's and i had a 1990 audi v8 quattro handmade from germany. The audi has 329,000 miles no engine trouble. Its not stock but the engine has not been rebuilt and it still makes 165mph and has room to go.
