The Murcielago has a 6.2 ltr V12 with around 640bhp and a top speed of 219mph. The Gallardo has a 5.2 ltr V10 with 560bhp and a top speed of 203mph. So the Murcielago is better, but its around $325,000. The Gallardo is more reasonably priced at only 198,000.
